Overflow pages were being flagged by security filtering built into some home internet services. This has been resolved. Providers refresh this data on their own schedules, so a small number of users may still see an error until their network updates. It will clear on its own.

Anyone still affected can reach Overflow by using cellular data, a different network, or a VPN in the meantime.

No donor or account data was involved at any point, and recurring gifts processed normally throughout.

A third-party security filtering service has incorrectly flagged our domain. Some internet providers use this data in their home network security features, which can block Overflow pages for affected users. The error appears as a secure-connection or unsafe-site warning.

This does not affect the security of Overflow, and no donor or account data is involved. Recurring gifts continue to process normally.

We’ve submitted correction requests to the services involved and are working to resolve this. Affected users can reach Overflow by using cellular data, a different network, or a VPN in the meantime.
